How a Ring camera helped uncover alleged elder abuse in Sandy Springs

Sandy Springs police say that video from a Ring doorbell captured an elderly woman being abused by her live-in caregiver. This footage led to multiple felony elder-abuse charges. The victim was treated at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, where officials documented her injuries and gathered evidence that much of the alleged mistreatment happened inside a local condo complex.

Metro Atlanta family’s green card trip turns into war-zone ordeal overseas

A Clayton County family from metro Atlanta is stuck in Dubai after war between the U.S., Israel, and Iran shut down flights and airspace across the region. Their long-planned trip to secure a green card for a relative has turned into days of air-raid alerts, canceled tickets, and uncertainty about when they can safely return to Georgia.
